Overview:
During the pandemic, several state governments provided parents with financial aid for learning support through platforms like ClassWallet. But to qualify as a vendor, we needed a standalone website specifically for state funding programs. We also had limited internal resources, so I had to design and write everything and use an outside agency to build the site.

My Role: Creative Direction, Content Strategy, Content Design, UX Design, Project Management, Agency Management

What I did:

• I focused messaging on the key concerns parents and students were dealing with during COVID (based on research):

  ·       Keeping up with class progress

  ·       The need for personalized instruction

  ·       Building confidence in isolation

• I used the available components to build a comprehensive site that works for every grade level.

• I oversaw the relationship with the agency, building out timelines, scheduling check-ins, and managing feedback/revision cycles.

How it went:

• We launched the site in time for the next round of funding.

• I don’t have access to income generated, but I heard it was doing “quite well.”
